Israeli attack kills at least four people in southern Lebanon | Israel attacks Lebanon News


The strikes come after a warning issued by Israel to evacuate nine towns in southern and eastern Lebanon.

Israeli terrorists in southern Lebanon have killed at least four people and wounded eight others, according to Lebanese reports.

The National News Agency (NNA) reported the injuries of two medics as they rushed to provide aid to the victims of the Israeli army’s violation of the ceasefire.

Doctors were injured when an airstrike hit a human security group affiliated with the Islamic Health Society in Toul in Nabatieh, where they responded to the initial attack, NNA reported.

Two people have been killed and five others injured in a plane crash in the city of Ebba in Nabatieh.

NNA also reported that a plane hit a car in the town of Haris in Bint Jbeil district, killing one person and injuring his brother.

Israeli warplanes targeted the house of the former municipal chief in Sajd, while other attacks were reported in Kfar Rumman and Safad al-Battikh. No details of the deaths were immediately available.

The risk of forced migration

Prior to this, the Israeli army threatened to evict nine towns in southern and eastern Lebanon.

They are: Rihan, Jarjou, Kfar Rumman, Nmairiyeh, Arabsalim and Harouf in Nabatieh, and Jmayjmeh, Mashghara and Qlayaa in eastern Lebanon.

Writing on X, army spokesman Avichay Adraee urged residents to evacuate because of what he called Hezbollah’s urban construction.

The Israeli military said a soldier was killed by a Hezbollah jet launched near the border. Also in southern Lebanon, three Israeli soldiers were injured in a booby-trap explosion.

The Israeli army continues to exchange fire with Hezbollah and carry out attacks, despite a ceasefire that began on April 17 and continued until mid-May.

Since March 2, Israeli attacks have killed at least 2,840 people in Lebanon, injured nearly 8,700 and displaced more than a million, according to Lebanese statistics.

The United States plans to hold more peace talks between Israel and Lebanon in Washington on Thursday and Friday. Hezbollah has criticized the Lebanese government for its involvement.
