Diogo Jota: Liverpool release memorable pictures of late forward

Liverpool have released pictures of a planned memorial to the late forward Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva following their deaths last summer.

Jota, 28, and 25-year-old Andre Silva, who played for Portuguese second division club Penafiel, Died in a car accident July 3 in Spain’s Zamora province.

The sculpture features a flowing heart design – a nod to Portugal’s international goal celebration – the two brothers’ shirt numbers, 20 and 30, as well as Jota’s lyrics, which are sung Liverpool Fans at 20 minutes into each game.

Titled ‘Forever 20’, Club says , outsiderIt celebrates Jota and Andre Silva’s “life, their bond and the love and respect felt by family, teammates and supporters around the world”.
