The best moments from the Bafta TV Awards


Netflix drama Adolescence was the big winner at the Bafta Television Awards on Sunday.

At the age of 16, Owen Cooper became the youngest winner of the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Teen.

Stephen Graham was named best actor for playing Cooper’s on-screen father, and in his speech he encouraged young viewers to believe they can follow a similar path in acting.

Narges Rashidi won best actress for playing Nazanin Zaghihari-Ratcliffe in BBC One’s real-life Prisoner 951, and the award went to the British-Iranian woman and her family.

Celebrity Betrayers won best reality show, and host Claudia Winkleman said of the show: “An exceptional cast of actors who played with dignity, sincerity and wholeheartedness and we love them.”
