President Donald Trump has warned that the United States will target any Iranian who tries to deliver highly enriched uranium to the country, saying nuclear weapons he is constantly being watched by the US military.
In an interview with the Full Measure syndicated TV show that aired on Sunday, Trump appeared to downplay the significance of the uranium, believed to be buried in nuclear weapons, that remains in Iran at this time.

“We’ll get it next time, whenever we want. We’ll review it,” Trump said.
“I did something called Space Forceand he is looking. If someone enters, they can tell you their name, their address, their badge number… If someone comes near the place, we will know, and we will blow them up.”
Iran’s highly enriched uranium is one of the main points of agreement between Washington and Tehran in talks to end the 10-week US-Israel war on Iran.
The US wants Iran to move its uranium abroad and shut down its nuclear program, but Tehran has insisted it will not give up its right to develop domestic projects.
Several international reports have said that uranium is still under the nuclear site that the US detonated in June 2025, but Tehran has not confirmed the location of the nuclear weapons.
last month, Trump announced that Iran agreed to allow Washington to take uranium and bring it to the US – it is said that Tehran quickly dismissed it.
Trump told Reuters on April 17 that the US would work with Iran “slowly and slowly, and go down and start digging with big machines” to recover the uranium stockpile at the site.
“We will bring it back to the United States,” he added.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei denied Trump’s comments. “Enriched uranium is as sacred to us as Iranian soil and will not be transferred anywhere under any circumstances,” he said.
Iran is said to have more than 400kg (882lb) of uranium enriched to 60 percent purity.
Enrichment of uranium is a difficult process to isolate and collect many radioactive forms – isotopes – of the element to produce nuclear fuel.
When enriched to 90 percent purity, uranium can be used to make nuclear weapons.
In 2015, Iran agreed to an international agreement that allowed Tehran to curtail its nuclear program and reduce its uranium enrichment to 3.67 percent under international supervision in order to lift sanctions against its economy.
Trump scrapped the deal – known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) – and began reimposing sanctions on Iran.
In response, Tehran – which denies seeking a nuclear weapon – began to advance its nuclear program beyond the limits set by the JCPOA.
Trump has said that the ongoing conflict with Iran is aimed at preventing the country from acquiring a nuclear bomb.
He was asked about the ride oil prices Because of the war, Trump said: “We will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon because they are crazy.”
The average price of one gallon (3.8 liters) of gasoline or gasoline in the US has risen to more than $4.50 due to factors related to Iran’s blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, to encourage inflation. It was less than $3 before the war.
Although the chaos began to work last month, conflicts it has exploded in the Gulf last week as the US continues to blockade Iranian ports between Hormuz and Tehran.
A source close to the Iranian government said on Sunday that Iran had done so he gave his answer to the recent US decision to end the war in Pakistan, which represents the negotiations.
But Trump said the war was not over as he repeated his claim that Iran had “defeated”.
“They have been defeated, but that doesn’t mean they are defeated,” the US president said. We have certain goals that we want to achieve, and maybe 70 percent we have achieved, but we have other goals that we can achieve.
