Spain’s sting drags the Roosters into the black stats


The Spanish team ended the first half of the World Cup semi-final against France with a score of 1-0 on Tuesday evening.

The Matadors earned a penalty kick, which was successfully executed by Mikel Oyarzabal in the 22nd minute.

Stats Foot reports that France are missing out on a result for the first time in their campaign at the 2026 World Cup finals.

He noted: “France haven’t conceded a goal in a World Cup semi-final since Croatia in 1998 before conceding against Spain now.”

He continued. “France became the team with the most penalties in World Cup history with 16.”
